Valnik watched over the wall of the Shiganshina District, He saw the titans Clawing at the walls, wanting to get in, Devour everyone.... He had joined the Recon Corps, He would be exploring outside the walls soon, He couldn't wait to kill them all, slowly, painfully, and not in the least bit merciful

Joyce waited at the top of the wall, and looked down at the titans below. She was shaking, since she had become a Scout only recently, and wondered if she would regret choosing to become a scout. Half of them... Half of the people who go out scouting end up dead! She stared down at the titans, and took a few steps back so that she didn't have to look at them.

Joyce turned her head when she heard a fellow scout member. I wish I could be brave like that. Just be ready to charge into battle when the time comes. She looked down at the ground. I can be brave. She decided she would start now. She took a small step forward, and looked down off the wall. The titans were clawing at it, trying to get to their prey. One opened its mouth and snapped it shut, and she quickly went back again. Why am I even a scout? I'm not even brave enough to look at a titan. I'm a disappointment...

Joyce nodded. "Yes, I was..." She said, remembering her surprise when she figured out she was in the top ten. I was in the top ten, everyone said that I was the quickest there, and I knew how to use my gear well. Why didn't I just choose to join the Military Police?

Joyce sighed. "I guess you're right. All they do is be lazy and eat. I want to actually help the fight against the titans." She said, then looked off the wall at the lands outside wall Maria. "Another reason I joined the scouts was to be able to go and explore out there, outside the wall. Its amazing how large the world is. And its so beautiful. I've always wanted to go outside the walls."
