Joyce turned when she heard someone knock on the door. "I'll get it." She said, then went over to answer it. She opened the door and saw a boy around her age standing there. "Hello."

Joyce watched them talk for a bit, until Daisuke (The dog)got up, and rushed outside. Joyce quickly hurried after the dog. Daisuke doesn't usually run away. Then she realized he was rushing towards a person that was running. He barked, and leaped at him. Daisuke reached the man running, and knocked him over. A few garrison guards came  over, and held the man's hands behind his back. Daisuke stepped off the man and sat down, his tail wagging.

Joyce smiled, and pet Daisuke. "I can't believe you're still as fast as you were with four legs." She said, and Dasuke happily barked. She took him back inside. "Sorry, Daisuke grew up around the military, and uncle trained him to help out."

"To visit your sister?" She asked, then began to go outside. "Wait." Her uncle said, then looked over at Daisuke. "Daisuke can go with you, he can be yours now." He said, and Daisuke happily got up and hopped over to Joyce. "Really? He's mine?" She asked. Her uncle nodded. She pet the three legged yellow lab, then went outside and turned to see that the man that Daisuke knocked over had a bag with him. Garrison guards pulled a bloody knife out, and a loaf of bread. Daisuke growled slightly.

Joyce knew she couldn't say what he wanted her to say. Actually she didn't quite know what she was doing, she hadn't had a crush on anyone before, and didn't know if she truly had one now or not. "How long have you guys known each other?" She asked Hikaru and Viklan.

(Its hard to remember his name, I keep spelling it Vanlik)

Daisuke's ears perked up when he heard something. He turned, and nudged Viklan towards the house. Soon Daisuke was trying to pull him towards the house by his clothes. Joyce looked down at Daisuke. "I think he wants you to go to uncle's house." She said.
