Joyse was startled when he hugged her, and blushed as he left. "Bye!" she called out just before some MPs rounded the corner. She took a step to the side, and they went past, running after Vanlik.

Joyse watched as they went out of sight, and decided to go back to guarding duty. A lot had happened that day, and she was a bit shaken up. She wasn't looking forward to her first scouting mission as much, now that she had actually fought a few titans.

Joyse knew he would get caught eventually. Maybe he should stop running, what if he gets a more severe punishment if he keeps running? Will he get killed? She walked through the town and stared down at the ground in front of her.

"Oh, thank goodness!" She said, feeling relived. "Lets get back to guarding the wall. Do you remember when the scouting trip was?" She asked.

Joyce smiled looked up at the wall. "I think we're supposed to be guarding." She said, and her light purple eyes flicked back to Viklan's.
