"Really?" Mochaberry meowed. "We're you thinking that StarClan acknowledged me as full medicine cat last night? Because my name is now Mochaberry," The pretty she-cat said with a sly grin.

Eaglepaw went to jump up but quickly returned back to his relaxed state. "That's great!" He purred, his eyes wide with excitement. "That's a beautiful name, perfect for you." The toms face went red as he realized what he said and he felt really awkward.

Mochaberry gave a small laugh, focusing on Eaglepaw's hurt limb. She couldn't look him in the eyes after he said that. "Thank you. What was your news?" She asked.

"Oh, um, it's no big deal. I think the prey is starting to return since the snow is melting. Pridepaw and I caught a lot of prey today, we were really surprised." The tom looked at the female, feeling bad that he had caused her to feel awkward. She didn't need to deal with it as soon as she got over the abuse of Starclan.

Mochaberry put a fixed look on Eaglepaw. She was one of his closest friends. She could tell when he was being odd. "Are you sure that's what you wanted to tell me?" She purred, standing up and walking over to her herb supply to put what she didn't use back. As she passed Eaglepaw she let her tail trace over his pelt. She didn't know where this sudden confidence came from, but it felt right.

Eaglepaw felt sparks as the females tail brushed over him and he looked at her. "Ummm. Yup, that is definitely what I wanted to tell you." The tom said with an awkward chuckle, his cheeks still red.

"Okay, maybe I lied, but I don't think I should really tell you what I actually had to say." He mumbled. Eaglepaw looked at his paw and smiled, "Thanks!"

"Promise, not to kill me when I say this??" The tom meowed, looking at her. "I have feelings for you, and I don't know what to do about it, because I know you probably don't like me back and it won't work out." Eaglepaw looked at his paws with an embarrassed look.

Mochaberry paused, her confidence failing. Words she never thought would have come out of Eaglepaw's mouth just had. She was suddenly filled with joy and went to brush his cheek with hers. "I feel the same way for you," She meowed.

Eaglepaw's breath hitched as their cheeks brushed and he could feel his heart swell. The toms eyes shut tight and he meowed, "Oh Starclan! Please tell me this is not a dream." His brilliant green eyes opened and he smiled and said, "It's not!" He purred and gave the she-cat a gentle lick on the muzzle. "I hope you know I stepped on a stone really hard just so I had a reason to come see you." Eaglepaw meowed in the gorgeous feline's ear.

Mochaberry gave a small laugh at Eaglepaw. "I know, why do you think I join you and Pridepaw hunting so often?" She asked, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Pride, being thick as a log when it comes to emotions and relationships and totally unaware of his friends' feelings for each other, thumped clumsily into the Medicine Den. "Do either of you know how to deal with a broken claw?" he said, looking intensely at his paw, "This thing's been bugging me all day..."

Mochaberry laughed and nodded, going to grab the needed herbs. She came back with them quickly enough and sat in front of the tom. "I would hope I know, since I'm now a full medicine cat," Mochaberry announced proudly.

Eagleoaw laughed, but quickly cut it off as Pridepaw come in. "Oh. Heh, heh. Hey Pride. Um... So.. Uh, How did you break your claw?" He said, pretending to clear his throat. Meanwhile his cheeks were a bit red, Did he hear any of that? He looked at his paws awkwardly, refusing to meet anyone's gaze.

Pride looked up at Eaglepaw and frowned in confusion. "You did it, you twig-brain!" he meowed humorously, "Remember? This morning? When you tackled me and knocked me on my face? In front of HALF THE CLAN?"

Eaglepaw's face got redder, and he hung his head. "Ohhhhh, that." He gulped and looked up, turning his head to the side, "Sorry about that. I didn't realize it broke your claw."

Pridepaw became obviously light-hearted to let his friends know that he wasn't really upset, "Don't worry about it Eaglepaw. Mossfur was more angry at you than me anyway," he joked. "Besides, we have something way more interesting to talk about. Mochapaw, are you actually a full Medicine Cat now?"

"Yup, my name is now Mochaberry! I get to take an aprentice on whenever I want and everything! But let me get some stuff for your claw," She meowed, going towards the back end of her den. It took her only a quick second to get some of the basic herb or two that Pridepaw's would require and she made ehr way back to the two toms.
