Powers? Yes or no?

Are we gonna start a poll with if we're gonna give powers to people? Like WCRPG?
I could come up with a way to make sure they don't abuse the power, based on how long and how many posts you have, you get to chose a power of your choice, or something along the lines of that :3

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. We should make a range and let people chose similar powers to the ones that we list if the vote is yes :3

I think long distant hearing should be one :3
and like the ability to camouflage yourself by what ur background is, but cats can still see you if you open your eyes, so you have to listen and not move

Well, what amount of posts would allow that? Like 25-70 is an example.

Yes, anyway I think it is a brilliant idea. Like Meg said {it was you right, and not Smoke?} WCRPG have it. They had a system where you had "freshkill" that you were received every time you posted. Then they would have this shop where you would buy special abilities or other animals with your freshkill. You then could Roleplay with whatever you bought. For the powers ability, it used to be that you had to get your use of it approved by the staff before you could roleplay with it. Now you do not have to get their approval.

Once again I went off in a big ramble without realising that I was doing it. XD Oh well.

Do we wanna make this place not cool? Oh we could. Have character bonds, invisibility, telepathy, telekinesis, and maybe a thing to transfer heat waves and tell when a random character is in trouble, or the take away physical/personal pains away with a touch that transfers the pain to the healing character, maybe a walk the dead one or see spirits, ooh and reincarnation.

I don't know about you, but I like the power Alec has in Twilight. He's totally badass. I mean, Jane is too but it's not the same.

I think powers are a yes but you guys are really using your imaginations.
Think about the powers in the books, dream walking, ability to not get harmed in battle, super senses. None of those were really noticeable or huge-gantic.
Even the top powers shouldn't be super big ones.
And everyone on the site should not have a power. that would just make us a bunch of futuristic freak cats. That's what the fan Clan, Synapseclan, is for.
We need to have a drawing of names or something or only pick the top posters then each of them could make a cat and we would make a prophecy from there.

How about we make a certain number of posts and you can have a small power, and a certain number of posts you can have a bigger power, but not too big?

I agree with you on this one. In WCRPG there are SO many members, so there is obviously more chances for powers to be given out. But in a smaller site like this one, a lot less people would be able to be given powers to roleplay with. When I say this I mean one of the "bigger" powers, but stuff such as dreams from StarClan could be more commonly given out.

I would suggest every one or two months to hold some kind of competition to give people the chance to have granted permission for their cat to have powers. Or you Staff could pick people themselves.

Well, some of the people on here aren't very good RPers and I believe they would abuse their power. I would too if I got my hands on an evil cat with an awesome power, but that's it. And besides, you people wouldn't let me create another one of my beautiful Rouge *pouts*.

I have typed it at least three times and tried to send it at least five. Somethings messed up with me PM thing. I can't always send PMs, especially when I try to send the same thing to multiple people.
And I don't receive everything. Especially when you guys try to send messages to me while sending them to multiple people.
So please don't trust sending me PMs. maybe we can make a private Staff thread for discussing the stuff we were PMing each other about.
It will be less secretive, but at least we would all be able to communicate.

Anyways, back to powers.

The most active posters should have the ability to have powers. That way it is fair. Think about it, there is a line between the Super Posters. Sadly that's the small group of me and Smoke, both over 1000 posts.
Then there are the Very Active Posters. Kit, Mini, Portal, Sorrel. All within 300 - 600. This seems like a huge amount of difference, 300, but it's not that big compared to the big acceleration to 1000. Or the huge drop under it.
After that all the posters are less then 100. Tea-Kat is kind of in her own little group there, the only person anywhere near 90 posts like she has.
After that is a drop to the 40's.
There I'd say we cut off at either fifteen or ten. The rest we can assume are inactive players, those who do not care, or people who just never post.

That's around six groups. I'd say people within the under 100's should not be included in bigger powers. Maybe some of the people like Tea that are almost at 100 could have slight powers.
I really have no clue, but to me those are the lines.

Send it to one of us at a time, but copy and paste it and stuff :3 And if you look at the outbox, the PM you send out (even if it doesn't go to the other person) is still there, I'm pretty sure at least.

It is there. But sometimes I still won't receive PMs.
And sometimes it won't send it out still if I just do the same message over and over to different people. It glitches and messes up.
Maybe if I send it to you do you think you could send it to Sorrel and Mini?
