"Not me, no. But it does mean it's not afraid as it was before." The Doctor was trapped by where the clues had lead.

"Whatever it is," Owlen continued, pressing the Doctor on, "Can you locate it so we can find Charlie?"

The doctor stood still for a moment. He was forgetting something. He knew it.
"Aha! I've got my sonic screwdriver! That should work," He exclaimed as he took the hand-held machine out of his coat pocket.
He flashed it around the room until only he heard beeping from it. It was one of the kinks of being a timelord. You're sonic screwdrivers liked you. But he was looking past the beloved screwdriver, right into Charlie's eyes unknowingly.
"Hello." The doctor stared blankly in front of him as he said this word.
"Owlen, I believe the form here is Charlie. Her atoms have been faded out, and only you can hear the buzzing noise because your senses are better than most because of... well, not to be rude, but because you're blind."

"What are you saying?" Owl stuttered after a moment of shocked silence, "That Charlie is right here? In this room? With us? How?!"

Ooc: Sorry, had an exhausting day at school, so pretty low on muse:/

"She's not completely here. Her body is somewhere else. Only her conscience is present," The doctor explained.

Not really knowing what to make of the Doctor's logic, Owl went along with it without questioning it. "Okay... so how can we help her?"

"We can't. But someone else can," The Doctor said, immediately standing up and walking out of the door to the office-area at a quick pace.
"I've always wanted to do that," The Doctor smiled underneath his own breath.

Toby and Owlen exchanged a confused glance, though Owl herself could not tell, before following the Doctor out of the building. Pulling up beside him, Owl questioned him further. "What do you mean by someone else, then?"

"I mean, I've got a friend or two in your time period," The Doctor explained, entering the TARDIS but leaving the door open once he left the office building.

Toby followed Owl as she tapped her stick along the door frame of the TARDIS before entering. "Where do we find these friends, then? And how can they help Charlie?" the woman said, showing signs of suppressed irritation at the Doctor's vagueness, but not letting go of the little patience she was holding onto right now, for her friend's sake.

"One of my friends is Martha Jones. She's with the military now, and I'm sure she can help if it's not just Charlie that's gone missing. Toby, have you noticed anyone disappearing?" The Doctor questioned.

"Oh sure, we get calls like that all the time where I work at the coffee shop," Toby laughed, before clearing his throat awkwardly and trying retaining his serious tone. "Um... Not that I can think of. I - Wait a minute... There was this one guy, in his forties or something. He actually used to come to the cafe pretty often, and then kinda... stopped. After that, missing posters went up all over town. It was weird, really weird."

"And then there was that kid down my street who vanished, too," Owl cut in, "I mean, fourteen-year-olds run off all the time, but that was about a year ago. They usually turn up at some point. Come to think of it, the head of her school disappeared pretty recently as well..."
It suddenly dawned on Owlen that, though these things happen, she herself pays very little attention to it, along with most who have no particular contact with the disappearing person. It took Owlen losing her best friend to finally realize something was up in her town.

Ooc: I'm sorry Roo, but I'm not really feeling this plot anymore; I am really trying to get back into it, but I just can't :( If you want to continue it, I can but it won't be my best work :|

Ooc: I actually really agree :/ I wouldn't mind one bit if we sort of just abandoned this plot. I'm not hating it, but I'm not exactly enjoying it either :P
Maybe instead of focusing on this one, we can focus on a new plot with our apocalypse survivors

Ooc: I was thinking that to. Out with the old, in with the new. Which is weird because the plot with Felik and Vale is older .-.
When I get home I'll make the first post for the apocalypse plot :3

Ooc: Do you have malwarebytes? If not, GET IT. It is a life saver, and it is full-proof. My dad used it for his military PC with classified stuff (I may have peeked on his inbox once or twice) it, so... .-.
