Cedarclaw is now deputy (Open RP)

Cedarclaws grey brindle pelt looked like a shadow from the hazy sky although inside he was gleaming with pride. His tail gently swayed with the breeze as he watched every cat at their jobs. He had become the deputy of Riverclan and hopes to show Wolfstar that he won't let him down.

Sagevine walked back into the camp, stretching each limb as he went. The tom had just been out on patrol, and was happy to see prey in the fresh-kill pile. The coming Newleaf meant full bellies of fish for his clan.
The warrior nodded goodbye to the cats he went on patrol with and grabbed a smaller trout from the pile of prey. He saw Cedarclaw and flicked his ear in greeting. The tom went and sat beside the deputy, dropping the fish. "Hello Cedarclaw. Have you eaten already?" He asked.

He shifted his gaze over to the tom. "No not recently." He flicked his long tail. "I think i'll wait till the clan has eaten. I ate a vole this morning." He blinked. "How are you today?" He shifted his weight so he was leaning on one side not both to even it out.

"Alright," The handsome tom meowed, laying down and beginning to eat his fish. "Nothing to report on the patrol; same old same old. But Mistlepaw's training is coming along well," He meowed, a proud look on his face when he spoke about his apprentice.

Cedarclaw curled his tail neatly around his paws listening to the tom. "Patrols... so no cat has gone out today? Are you up for leading a patrol? Take Mistlepaw and whichever other cat you'd like to bring. I've heard a lot about Mistlepaw. A great apprentice I hear." He murmured. "When you come back, I want you to test her in front of my eyes. A practice test." He paused.

Sagevine looked up at the deputy, confusion in his eyes. "Thank you Cedarclaw, I'm sure she'll be ecstatic to it. But I just came back from a patrol, although I could lead another one. We haven't checked the ThunderClan border yet," He meowed.

He noticed the confusion and cleared his throat. "A border patrol. Not a hunting patrol. I hope your not too tired." He raised an eyebrow. "And yes I'm sure she will be." He smiled.

Ooc: It's Mistlepaw, goddammit XDD I'm joking, I mix up Hazelrise and Sagevine all the time. So far I've managed to edit it out whenever it's happened xP
Mistlepaw had just finished building a fresh nest in her spot in the Apprentice Den when she almost knocked into Sagevine on the way out. When she realised who it was, the she-cat smiled up at the tom. "Hello, Sagevine," she greeted.

Mistlepaw trotted beside Sagevine jovially, taking in the spring day. "I don't think I've ever been on patrol to the ThunderClan border. I've only hunted near it."

"Well ThunderClan is very similar to us, but they don't like water and they don't eat fish. They eat voles and squirrels like us and have fierce pride in their clan," Sagevine explained as they got closer to the border.

The deputy hung a little behind to observe the apprentice and Sagevine. He emitted a satisfied grunt and walked briskly, catching up to them.
