By The Lake {Closed}

Pebblewhisker padded along the edge of the river, listening to the sounds around and looking at the small falls in the distance, where the creek met the river. He always enjoyed a walk, and would hunt if he found a good place. As he was padding on, he scented another cat, and recognized it as another RiverClan cat.

A short distance away, a deep ginger furred she-cat was sitting by the waters, her slim tail wrapped around her paws and gaze traveling far into the distance.
Her ear flicked as she turned her head, recognizing the scent of a clanmate as well.
She sniffled slightly, studying the smell curiously. She had been in the clan a short while, and was still getting used to the foreign scent that now lingered on her fur and on the other clan members.
"Hello, I don't believe we've met?" The she meowed, her smooth, coy voice contrasting around the general silence of the area that was now broken. "I'm Kestrelflight." The aforementioned she-cat introduced with a charming grin, her eyes flickering.

He padded over to the she-cat so that he could hear her words more clearly, and he as well gave her a charming smile. "You're right, I don't think we have." He nodded, agreeing with her, he hadn't recognized the she-cat and knew his clanmates fairly well. "Kestrelflight? Nice to meet you. I'm Pebblewhisker." He meowed, and then gave her a smile.

Kestrelflight smiled once more, and then turned her gaze back into the waters. "I--uh, hey, how do you and your--our clanmates like the water so much?" She asked somewhat nervously, which was unlike her. "It's intriguing, but, I wouldn't... oh, never mind." She said, shifting her paws anxiously.

He glanced at the water and then back to the she-cat, he was very friendly and loved to answer her question. "No, no, it's a good question! I suppose we just get used to it. I'm all right with it, but I don't particularily love being in it, I like time here just as much, if not more." He purred cheerfully and smiled.
