The young she-cat sat in her den, preparing the herbs she needed to give to herself as well as Feralclaw. She was nervous. It was the first time she would see a new leader in her life-time, and she was the only one escorting him in the traditional manner. Only medicine cats, or in this case the apprentice, were allowed to travel with the soon-to-be-leader to the Moonfalls. She just hoped she didn't mess anything up and that everything went smoothly.
The pretty tabby wrapped up the four herbs; daisy leaf, chamomile, heather nectar, and goatweed were limited this time of year, but Newleaf was on its way and there was nothing more important than making sure Feralclaw could get to the Moonfalls safely.
Soon, Mochapaw left her den and stepped into the cold early morning air. It would take all day to travel to the Moonfalls, but she was more than prepared to make the trek. She laid down the two bundles of herbs and sat near the fresh-kill pile. She wished she could grab something quickly, but she knew that would be a big mistake. The herbs didn't mix well with meat.
Feralclaw would be coming soon, and when they got there and Feralclaw was done, Mochapaw needed to speak with StarClan. Badly.

We can just say that Shockstar was the leader before Feralclaw because that is how it honestly was. But feel free to make up cats to give him the nine lives and everything.
Also, if you don't mind, I was thinking of possibly having Mochapaw being named in this as the official medicine cat :)

Feralclaw, soon to be Feralstar, slowly walked to Mochapaw, he greeted her with a simple "Hello Mochapaw," with a nod. He was nervous. Very nervous. The clan did well with shockstar, he hoped to do just as good as her, if not better, he was having a very large burden placed on his shoulders. The nine lives would be nice though. "Are you ready?"

Mochapaw nodded her head. She picked up the small bundle of herbs and placed them in front of Feralclaw. "Eat those before we leave," She meowed, starting to eat her own. The heather nectar improved the taste greatly and the medicine cat apprentice was very thankful she had put it in there.

"Herbs. I hate herbs." He sighed and smelled them. Wasting no time he started eating them. Tastes he hated rushed through his mouth, when he got back, he was going to sleep, then eat a good piece of prey.

Mochapaw gave a quiet laugh at the tom's reaction. "Come, we must go," She said, leading the way out of the camp.

Ooc: Do you want to do a time skip to where they get to the Moonfalls? You can write the first post about it. They won't go in yet until Mochapaw says so though. They just enter under the water (they won't get wet since it's StarClan) and suddenly they're in StarClan. But the moon has to be high.

Time Skip~

The two cats arrived at the Moonfalls right after dusk. The moon was coming up soon, and the only sound that could be heard was the loud drops of water coming from the falls. This was not Mochapaw's first time here; it was probably her seventh or eighth to be honest. But she was very nervous.
"In a few minutes you'll have to go in first, but I will follow you in and the other medicine cats say I will be in the crowd watching you receive your lives. Are you nervous?" She asked, knowing the answer. But she thought that maybe talking about it would help.

"Well, it will be very weird at first. You don't know what happens to your physical body because once you're in the cave past the falls, you're immediately in StarClan. But it will make you feel really light-headed for a few moments and you'll feel a bit nauseous, but after that you should be completely fine. Also, expect a lot of cats at first. Eventually, most of them will leave and only ShadowClan cats and cats you knew personally will watch your ceremony, including me," Mochapaw explained. "So you'll definitely see Shockstar and Moonleaf again." She meowed.

The medicine cat apprentice chuckled. "Well, I'm pretty patient with StarClan. And you will be as well, once you receive all of your lives. Go ahead," Mochapaw meowed, nodding towards the falls. She knew a cat could go straight through the falls without getting wet at all and end up immediately among StarClan.

" He purred and walked into the falls, a his jaw dropped slightly as he gazed upon starclan, there were so many cats, great warriors of all the clans. He wondered when he would see his deceased clan mates with a giddy excitement

Mochapaw walked in behind the tom, the water cascading around her. She could feel it, but none of it stayed on her pelt. The dryness of the water was always comforting to her.
She sat behind the soon-to-be-leader, looking around at the large field. There were smaller trees scattered around, and it was surrounded by rolling hills so a cat could only see this field. What was beyond the field was unknown to her. This field was the only place living cats were allowed to see. The smell of roses filled her senses and she looked ot her left to see her mentor, Moonleaf.
The black and white she-cat moved towards Feralclaw, and Shockstar also came into view on the opposite side of the tom.
"Do not be worried, Feralclaw. You will go rigid for a moment, and be unable to move," Shockstar began speaking. The two she-cat sat in front of him now.
"Your old life will be stripped away, and we will begin giving you your nine lives after a few moments when the feeling passes," Moonleaf finished.

Here's a list of cats that can give Feralclaw his lives of you're coming up with a blank :)

Illusionflight: Grey she-cat, died because of insanity. She could give him the life of clear sight.

Incidence: Fluffy grey she-cat loner that was helped out by ShadowClan. Died from monster on the Thunderpath. Life of curiosity.

Rouge: Previously evil calico she-cat from the Malum. Died from Massacre (previous BloodClan leader) fighting her in the battle against the Malum. Life of faith.

Moonleaf: Killed by Rain while protecting her father, Massacre. Life of selflessness.

Halfwing: ShadowClan warrior, sister of Rouge. Died of Greencough. Life of love.

Matchkit: WindClan kit who died in ShadowClan from a hawk. Life of protection.

Bitterstar: Previous ThunderClan leader, Shockstar and her were good friends. Last life lost by badger. Life of sympathy and understanding.

Idk what can give him his eighth life, lol, sorry.

Shockstar: Last life taken by Greencough. Life of truth, trust, and bravery.

You can choose whatever you want in respect as to how Ferlclaw knows these cats :3
