A striped body climbed onto the rock in the middle of the camp. This was his favorite time. The changing of cats' lives. To warm them, make them feel new. The part of life that every cat wanted.
Ceremonies.
From kit to apprentice; to apprentice to warrior. There were even those few rare times when a loner joined and needed a new name.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath here for a Clan meeting!"
