Orion stepped up gingerly and bent his head to have a better look at the new-borns. As his hot breath blew over them, one of them sneezed, which set the rest off, until they were a shaking mass of sneezing puppies.
Orion laughed, "They'll be alphas yet," he said teasingly, scratching one of them on the back and making it writhe and squeal with pleasure.

Frostbite smiled as she watched the pups, she looked at Orion. Orion would be a good father some day.

"Which ones are boys and which ones are girls?" Orion asked the new mother.

" Well, the white furred one is a female and that silvery blue one is a male, you can name those two if you want to." she smiled at him before continuing " The runt is a boy, I think I'll call him splinter and the grey one, like me, I will call rain." she barked. She noticed all the pups' fur was sticking up, that just simply wouldn't do. She licked them one by one each one squealing or whining as she did so.

Splinter~~
Splinter began to wiggle away before his mother nudged him towards her. He kept trying but it was useless, he would HAVE to get a bath today.

Rain~~
Rain quickly wiggled away while his mother was cleaning Rhea. He squealed as he wiggled straight into Orion's paw. Rain began to go around the large paw quickly, maybe he'd make it.

Orion chuckled at the little puppy at his paws. Bending down, the wolf-like dog grasped the tiny creature between his jaws very gently and placed him back by his mother's belly.
He looked at the two pups that Frostbite said he could name. One was the only one of them that wasn't squirming away from his mother's bath, the silver boy. "I think I'll call him Seren. And the little girl, umm..."
The little pale female seemed to be scrabbling over her brothers, yapping and growling as she did so, much to the pups' annoyances. "Rhea. I think that suits the little tyke."

Frostbite smiled " Thank you." she said as he set the pup by her. " Those are beautiful names. Seren, Rhea, Rain, and Splinter." she smiled.
