Old and alone. ~Open~^^

Riley walked down the side of the road. She was tired, and thirsty, and her bones ached. She stopped for a rest, tired from walking. I wish it was like it used to be. I wish I weren't so old. I just wish that my wishes could come true. She stared ahead and began to think about her past. They made me attack the other dogs... They even made me kill one. She remembered it clearly. The dog was vicious, but she had it on the ground. They should've split up the fight by then, they were supposed to. The people started shouting for her to kill the other dog, since it had been such a tough fight. The dog struggled, and growled. She looked at the other dog. It obviously would kill her if it had the chance. She didn't want to, but her owner sounded like he would hurt her if she didn't listen. She had gone for the throat, and the other dog died. Riley closed her eyes, and drifted off into sleep. Suddenly she snapped awake. She heard a wolf howl in the distance. She panicked, and quickly got up. She rushed into the road, afraid and confused. She looked to her side and saw the front headlights of a car as it came towards her. She heard the screeching of tires, and yelped right before it hit her. Everything went dark.
