Finn lifted his head and looked in the direction Zane was looking at. He was taken aback by the pup's sudden change of subject, but the trainee was right, there was talking coming from in the woods. "I do, Zane", he replied, then, standing up, he said: "we must investigate. Come, I will need your keen senses by my side."
The grey giant led the way through the trees. Soon the two dogs reached a clearing, where they saw Willow, Zane's trainer, sitting by a stranger puppy.
"What on earth is?" asked the pack leader, confused.
Willow looked at the two familiar dogs and approached them. "I found this pup on the beach. Her name is misty. I think she may have been in a shipwreck. The wreckage is clear from the shore, sir."
At this Finn's heart ached, remembering his own shipwreck. The enormous dog approached the young stranger and sat in front of her, Willow at his side.
"Now", he said in his deep, soothing voice, "I think you best come back with us, and on the way, you can tell us what happened."
Finn began to lead the way back towards the camp, Willow close at his side.

Misty, slightly scared at the new sights and smells, nodded her small head looked up at the two new dogs. She had ever felt so out of place before. She was the strong one of her litter. While Fern may have been adventurous, she was daring. WhileLila was protective, she was ready snap at throats for them. While Tata was highly intuative, she knew what was right and what was wrong.

She had been the leader. And now all she is is a lost pup.

Willow looked back towards the silver-furred puppy, shaking in the middle of the clearing, tears still falling from her eyes. The collie walked back over too Misty and lay down beside her. "There, there now pup. Dry those tears. There's no need to be afraid. We will all look after you." She licked the puppy's face, wiping away the tears that were streaming down her face. "Maybe", she said, more cheerfully, "you and Zane could become friends."
The collie stood up and signaled to her trainee to come and meet the stranger.

Bailee followed the voices she heard. She saw Willow, Zane and a young pup. She trotted over to the pup. " Hello little one. Whats your name?" ,Bailee said softly. She sat down next to Willow.

Zane had been on the other side of the clearing, watching the strange pup.
He trotted over at his Trainer's signal.
"Who is this?" he asked gently and looked softly at the pup.

Misty looked up at al the stranger's. Right now she was confused and scared out of her mind. Hadn't she already told them her name? And where were the Twolegs?
She sunk into herself a bit before replying to the two cats. "My name's Misty."

"Come along everyone", cried the booming voice of the giant leader, who was coming back through the trees to usher his pack, and the stranger back to the camp. "Ah, hello Bailee, I didn't see you there", Finn said, greeting the collie. "This is Misty. She's a bit lost. Let's get her back to the camp and make her feel welcomed. We can all introduce ourselves back at the camp."
The wolfhound started towards the trees again. Willow stood and nudged the silver stranger with her nose, trying to get her up on her paws as gently as she could.

" Ok!" ,Bailee said with a respectful tone. She trotted to camp with her tail up.

Aiden caught sight of everyone by a little pup he heard's name was Misty. " Hi Daddy!" Aiden said cheerfully.

"Hello son!" Finn met his eldest son as he came to greet them. His pups were the most important thing in his life, since his mate died, and he was fiercely proud of all of them.
"Come and meet our guest, Aiden", the leader said, leading his son towards Misty. "Misty, meet my eldest son, Aiden."

" Hello, Misty! Welcome to the Pack!" ,Aiden said energeticly. Aiden tried to reach his dad's tail by jumping.vHe jumped but missed it each time. " I wish I was as tall as you daddy!" ,he barked with a loving look at his father.

Finn chuckled warmly at his son. "You keep eating the way you're eating at the moment and you soon will be. I'm going to take Misty to my den and see if I can find out what happened to her. Maybe when she feels a little better, you and Zane can look after her for me, show her around."
The grey giant then turned to Misty and said: "Come with me, Misty. I want to talk to you."
He smiled warmly down at the puppy and turned towards his cave den.

Aiden chuckled at his daddy's words. " I don't eat that much dad! Ok, when your done with Misty me and Zane will be the most kindest dogs you'll see!" ,Aiden barked and whisked away. " I'll make a nest for her!" ,he yowled as he ran into the forest.

Finn watched Aiden as he ran off and laughed to himself. Misty would certainly be in good hands.

Misty followed where the dog -Finn, she heard was his name- told her to go. Something he called den. She had a vogue memory of what had happened to her. She and her master sailing, him trying to teach her to swim at a beach just before they left, and a storm.

Ooc: Sorry you guys D: I hate school so much. I'm at a new school now, and I don't know anyone. And guess what? I have a class on the 1st floor, then the 3rd floor, then on the 1st floor again! I'm going to become underweight from all that stair climbing!

Finn lead the puppy into a small (although the wolfhound could still fit in it comfortably) stone cave and lay down on a nest of dried grass, moss and twigs, and pointed with his nose to a smaller pile of dried grass and moss in front of him, signalling to Misty to take a seat there.
When they were settled, Finn spoke. "Now, can you remember anything happening to you?" the grey giant asked in his deep, calming voice. "Were you in a shipwreck?"

Ooc: ah, that sucks about the stair climbing thing. If they have a elevator, use it ;)

Zane had been gathering stuff for the pup.
A pinecone, some moss, some feathers, and some whistling reeds.
He went over to eavesdrop on Finn's den.

OOC:I would be your friend!
At my school it's small and one layer and everyone wants to be friends with the new kids!
And I like to make friends. From my good friends, to book friends, to new kids, to that with grader who hit me with his band stand once.

Misty thought about and then slowly nodded her small, silver head. "I-I think there may hve been a storm. I hid below deck, and after that I can't remember much," She barked softly, barely audible.

Aiden collected some more moss and the softest feathers he could find. He raced into camp and stopped at the Trainees den. " Come on Zane, bring your moss and stuff!" ,he called.

"Okay", Finn said, nodding. "It sounds to me that your boat was blown into the rocks just off shore." Finn shuddered a little as he remembered his own shipwreck. Then he looked at the puppy with sad, concerned eyes. "Now Misty, I want you to take your time and think hard on this next question", he growled softly, "can you remember who was on the boat with you? Humans, dogs, anything. Who was sailing it"
