Rising to her paws she nodded. "I'll ask her now actually." She stretched quickly before padding over to the med den to see Blacktail. "Blacktail?" She meowed poking her head in.

"Okay, can I help with that, Blacktail?" He asked his clanmate, hoping that she would say yes, he was quite friendly around kits and wanted to help his clanmates.

Hazelrise relaxed as the final herbs were placed on his wounds, the pain of the ordeal subsiding a little. However, the moment Mochaberry mentioned his staying in the ShadowClan camp, he began to panic again.
"What?! No, I couldn't possibly--" The tom began to struggle to his paws but was stopped by the return of the pain in his flank and slowly sank back down, defeated.

"Don't move around like that mouse-brain!" Mochaberry hissed at the tom. "Don't worry; no one will recognize your scent, I'll make sure of it," The medicine cat meowed as she flicked her tail impatiently.

Blacktail nodded at the tom, picking up Mosskit and letting the kit make his way to the warrior. "Just... be careful," She meowed. She had kept Sorrelkit because she needed more attention. The shivering of the kit was slowing down and her breath was becoming more even, but Blacktail was worried that she would catch Whitecough or, StarClan forbid, Greencough.

He dipped his head, grateful that she trusted him, letting Mosskit come close to him and he began to warm the little kit. "Of course." He meowed and smiled.

Hazelrise twitched irritably as he shifted back into a resting position. He threw a tired glance over to his clanmates to see if they were ok.

"Here, Honeyspot, since Mosskit is covered by Stormheart I'll need your help sorting out the herbs they'll need to return to ThunderClan," Mochaberry meowed, grabbing a few bundles of herbs out of their places. The kits would need strength, as well as Blacktail. To make sure they didn't hunt on their territory, she also had to give some to Stormheart. She was a ShadowClan cat after all, and trusted no one out of her clan.

He looked back at Hazelrise, giving him a little nod before turning to Mochaberry to speak with her, that was a good idea. "So Hazelrise will stay behind, nd the rest of us will go back to ThunderClan?" He asked the medicine cat. He would not hunt on ShadowClan territory, and the herbs would be very helpful, he smiled.

"Oh, sorry Honeyspot. We've got the kits, but thank you," The queen said, realizing the other she-cat had called her name a few moments ago.
"Didn't you say one of us could stay with him?" Blacktail meowed.

She smiled lightly and swayed her tail. "Aren't they all?" She sat down a few tail lengths away. "Kits are like mint in our world. Just like the twolegs treat their kits." She flattened her ears remembering clan born cats didnt exactly like twolegs.

"No, he does not have to stay alone," The medicine cat meowed to Blacktail. "But what I advise is for Stormheart to help you home, and if she is up to it, Honeyspot as well. Hazelrise must stay here. Inform Sunstar of what has happened and then, if you wish Stormheat, you may come back and aid Hazelrise in healing. He will need the support," She continued.

"That sounds good, I can do that right now if you are all okay. Are they okay to travel, Mochaberry?" He asked, and gave her a nod. "I'll have to talk to Sunstar, and I'll see if I come back, you're right, he will." He meowed.

Hazelrise looked away from the group, his eyes growing hazy and tired with their talking and his loss of blood. He sighed irritably at the mention of Sunstar; the last thing he wanted was for the ThunderClan leader to get involved, but deep down he knew it was inevitable.
He rested his head back and let his mind fly back to the ThunderClan camp. He thought of Sunstar and Blazeshadow discussing formal clan business; a little way off, Stoneclaw was speaking patiently to a focused Lightningpaw and a disruptive Larkpaw; all around him the other cats went about their day, the fresh-kill pile looking reassuringly full.
With these images dancing in his mind, the tom drifted into an exhausted sleep.

Mochaberry glanced at the sleeping tom before nodding her head to Stormheart. "Yes, the kits should be ready to go back. Honeyspot, would you mind guiding them to the border?" The she cat asked.

He guessed that Mochaberry wanted to make sure that they didn't linger on ShadowClan territory, which was a fair request after all, but he just waited for the she-cats.
