The night sky was captured perfectly on the ocean surface, and if an endless black mirror was held in front of the shining stars. A three quarter moon glowed iridescently, punching a beautiful white whole into the seemingly endless blanket of blacky-blueness that was the midnight sky.
Tarlio gazed out at this beauty of nature, dazzled by every aspect. the sea was calm and only a few small waves lapped at the timber wolf's paws as he sat. He was waiting for Luna to come. Waiting for their first training session by the light of the moon. The wolf's amber eyes glowed with pure excitement as he thought of the lesson ahead.

Luna's feet pounded silently against the hard winter ground as she ran towards the North star. Her heart beat quickly, but not because she was running as fast as she could. But rather since she would be able to see Tarlio. They hadn't been able to talk to each other since their talk earlier tonight, and though it sounded odd, she'd felt sad being without him even for a few short hours.
Her shoulder slightly stung, as it was covered in a small layer of cobwebs. She would be able to concentrate past it though, so it was no big deal.
The rhythm of her feet became faster as she spotted the beach area and soon she slowed down, seeing Tarlio there waiting for her. As she skidded to a graceful halt, she smiled brightly at the russet colored wolf.
"Hello Tarlio. Ready to start your training?"

Tarlio whipped round and smiled at the white wolf as she approached. "You bet", he growled, standing up and meeting Luna half-way up the beach, "What's first?"
Since Luna had said she would be happy to train him, the timber wolf had seldom thought of anything else but her and the lessons they were going to have.
It also made him feel stronger when he thought about training. When Hohn had announced Tarlio and Oburoka were to fight to death or banishment, the poor russet wolf had felt a vast hopelessness blacken his heart. But now he was going to have professional training, and from Luna as well, Tarlio felt almost invincible.
Since Luna had said she would be happy to train him, the timber wolf had seldom thought of anything else but her and the lessons they were going to have.

The white wolfette was nothing but a blur as she rushed at Tarlio, fangs bared and all. She was not a joking teacher, but she was a good one.

Tarlio was taken aback by the she-wolf's speed and suddenness to say the least. The timber wolf tried to dodge her, but landed flat on his back ans the white wolf landed on him, imprisoning him under her strong grip.

Luna smiled, replacing her fang snarl with a more placid facial expression. "Oburoka will attack as soon as he can. Get up, we gotta try until you get it right," She barked, getting off of the russet colored wolf.

Luna surveyed Tarlio real quick, putting on half of her amount of coldness she would usually have during an actual battle. With the way he was crouching, she would easily be able to run, swerve, and attack his side.
She put her plan into action, speeding ahead and swerving 2 tails in front of him, aiming for his left side.

Tarlio didn't see this coming at all. Though he managed to dodge a little way out of the way, the Luna still caught her opponent on his back legs and sent him tumbling.
The amber-eyed wolf hit the ground with an "oof!", before bursting into laughter at the realization of how hopeless he was being. "I'm useless at this!" he exclaimed, before staggering to his feet once again, "Come on. try me again!"

Luna smiled as she stood up. With enough practice, Tarlio would be able to tell her next move by the way her ears rotate, the glimpses of her eyes and the way her body tenses. It would all hit him at once, and it'll feel like a slap in the face- at least from Luna's experience from when her mother taught her this.
"Look for the way my ears rotate, my body language, where my eyes go, and how still and what direction my tail is in," The white wolfette barked before standing a few tails in front of her temporary apprentice once again. She knew she couldn't do what she did the last 2 times- it would be too obvious.
She slowly got into her poised form that all wolf's had as their own kind of thumbprint. No wolf's stance was the same.
This time she would charge straight ahead, crouch down low, and get underneath his stomach, flipping him over. She put her plan to work.
Ooc: You can powerplay what happens a bit- it would be a bit hard not to :3

Though Tarlio guessed what Luna was planning by her eyes, as she had told him, the white wolf's speed took him by surprise and she half succeeded in her endeavor. But as the timber wolf was half prepared for this attack, when Luna flipped him, Tarlio was able to land on his feet.
When the timber wolf regained his balance, he whipped round and flew at his opponent, aiming to pin her to the ground.

Luna swung around, not realizing what Tarlio had planned. The russet wolf was able to push her against the ground with her giving a soft 'oof!'.
"Looks like your learning," The blue-eyed wolfette barked, and then winced slightly as her shoulder stung.

Luna quickly shook her head, standing up. "Nah, I'm fine," She barked, smiling and ignoring the pain in her shoulder.
Ooc: I'm thinking of her shoulder wound getting infected and her almost losing her life not long after the fight between Tarlio and Oburoka and that's when they profess their love, right after she regains consciousness or something :3

Ooc: Yeah, that sounds like a really good idea. I was thinking that Tarlio will LOSE the fight against Oburoka and be banished from the pack territory, but he travels to the other pack's boundary in hope of finding a loophole in the law about the fight and the banishment and what have you. But whilst he's there, he could hear about Luna being really sick and rush back to the territory to see her. Sound good? X3
