Dazed, Mudpelt shook his head and got up, albeit rather shakily, due to his blood loss. He caught Icepaw looking at it and faked a smile, ever the tough warrior. "It's nothing! Let's do this!" As he said this, he prepared to attack the now blinded bear, spitting some blood. His ideas were not as fine tuned as the apprentice's, basically he would just fight the beast and hope for the best..

Icepaw nodded, but worry glimmered in her eyes as she looked at him. "I promise I'll get you in the medicine den right away when this is over." She panted, although she didn't want to stress him by saying 'If we survive'.
The bear stumbled back to its four legs, and seemed to be trying to flee, but futilely bumped into the wall. She almost felt bad for the thing, but that feeling was overwhelmed as she looked upon Mudpelt, battered and shaky.
No. This thing might have been defending its territory, but it attacked without mercy and with no remorse.
As the adrenaline of the fight slowly wore off, Icepaw felt her wounds stinging and felt the warm trickle of blood staining her white fur. For now, the bear was pacified as it tried to understand its helpless predicament. She sat down to rest momentarily, but kept her claws unsheathed. They had to figure out what to do.
She flicked her long, fluffy tail to beckon the apprentice closer. "Were you wounded?" Icepaw asked softly, her voice not swaying despite her grizzly wounds.

Anberpaw shook her head, "No...maybe just some small scratches, but I'm fine." SheLooked up at the growling feirce animal. She tried to claw its face, but missed and feell beneath the 'thing'. The brown animal opened it's jaws and snapped at where Amberpaw's neck was, She doged it by rolling to the side and raked her claws on it's legs. The bear growled angrily. Amberpaw ran from under it and went back to catch her breath.

"Hey, you piece of dung, pick on someone your own size!" growled Mudpelt as he leaped head-on at the bear, feeling the rush of adrenaline pumping. He slashed its muzzle and it blindly returned a blow, hitting him in the side. But he would not give up, as he snapped back up and continued to fight the bear, not caring at all for his life, and hell-bent to fight this beast off and protect his clanmates.

Icepaw moved defensively in front of Amberpaw, her back arched and an angry grimace upon her face.
She noticed its facial skin was not as strong as the rest of its pelt, so she leaped onto its face and clawed it with blind fury as she scrambled up away from its mouth.
She realized that if it was possible to cripple it more, it wouldn't be as much danger to the clans. But how? And why bother? It was still dangerous. If they could drive it toward twolegplace, maybe those vicious twolegs had a way of killing these things.
"Mudpelt!" She yowled over the things continuing roars. "We could lure it to twolegplace! Perchance twolegs know how to kill these awful beasts. Then it would be away from the clans--" Icepaw paused, and bit its ear. After, she continued. "--and loners, and would be no threat to us!"

Mudpelt half agreed with her idea, still believing that they could fight off the bear with brute force. But was that for his clanmates, or just to prove himself? He knew which one, of course, but continued to fight. "Are you sure that's-" he raked a hard blow onto its belly. "-a good idea?" he meowed. "Shouldn't we fight it?!" He slashed it again.

"I'm sure. I can't get a scratch on it! Although you seem to be faring better..." She replied, grinning. The blinded creature struck its head forward and attempted to bite her and claw Mudpelt.

Amberpaw looked over to the twolegplace, "Alright, lets go!" She yelled over the bears raging sounds. Amberpaw ran to the front of the bear and over to the direction of the twoleg place. "Hey! You mouse brained fox dung no good crow food! Come over here!!" She yowled as hard as she could until the bear took notice of her. Her pelt flashed in the sunlight and it started to charge over to her. Her paws stood there froze, unable to move. -oh no, I didn't think of what to do after calling him over!- She thought. Amberpaw gulped as it opened its mouth and ran straight towards her.

"Faring better? Heh heh, are you surprised?" he grinned and dodged its blow. Just then the noticed the bear move away and go after the apprentice. Mudpelt rolled his eyes, surprised at the narrow thinking of the apprentice. Nonetheless, he ran after the bear, attacking it head on and distracting it from her as it began to attack him. "Don't do that again!" he yelled at Amberpaw.

Icepaw raced over to the side of the monster, then let out a loud screech to attract the bear. It was probably the loudest sound she had made before, and it hurt her throat, but she wouldn't let her clanmates get attacked by the thing. She just hoped it would work.

"What are you doing?" Mudpelt yelled, unsure of what she wanted. He ducked from a blow from the bear's giant claws as he slashed its belly and the bear continued to attack him.

"Trying to distract it. I see that was not needed." She replied hoarsely, and cleared her throat. "We have to figure out a strategy of bringing it back without getting ourselves killed."

"Or, maybe we can kill it. But not with force..." She thought aloud, and she smirked. "Get prey, somehow. Maybe the fresh-kill pile? Then we need to poison it with high doses of nightshade or deathberries, or something else. Who wants to run to camp and get these things? It'll go down, no danger to the clan!"

Amberpaw felt embarressed of thinking so stupidly. "Sorry she mumbled." Amberpaw started to bite ithe thing and tore a clump of fur out, the creature snarled. It was furious! Amberpaw nodded at Icepaw's idea, a better idea then Amberpaw's idea. "I can go get it! Should I sneak it..or tell them about this thing?" Amberpaw yowled over the sounds of the monstrous animal.

Icepaw pondered the question. "Tell them!" She answered, and studied the creature before biting into its paw. She got whipped around a few times, then knocked to the ground. The white she-cat got up, but growled at the thing.

"No, sneak it!" Mudpelt yowled at her. Despite all this, he was still hoping to come out as a tough hero. "Trust me!" All he could do is hope that she took his word as he slashed at the bear, feeling it grow weaker, but not weak enough..

"Tell them." She reiterated, her eyes narrowed. "What if you got caught in the act? What would you say? Would they believe you if you didn't tell them first? We don't have time for delays like that!" Icepaw argued, looking straight at Mudpelt the whole time. YOU'RE the one who got us into this whole thing, you've done enough." Icepaw hissed, fur bristling and an unusual harshness in her usually soft voice.

Amberpaw felt confused at the two arguing. -Whats should I do?- Amberpaw thought to herself. "Okay, I'll sneak it, but I'm only listening to Mudpelt because he's a warrior..." Amberpaw thought for a moment. "How about I tell two or one cat(s) too bring to help, but keep it a secret from the rest of the clan?" Amberpaw asked slowly as the bear lashed at the cats.

Mudpelt shot back after he landed a blow on the bear's face. "I never said you had to be part of this! Remember all of the warnings I gave you? You didn't listen! It's your fault as much as mine! We don't need cats getting scared and making the situation worse. Don't tell them." he meowed towards Amberpaw, and le lept back at the bear.

Icepaw couldn't refute his logic, and she stayed silent for a few heartbeats. "Fine. Yes, Amberpaw, that's a good idea." She meowed, and looked to Mudpelt once again, the emotion in her eyes unable to be read. Anger? Sorrow? Apology?
She seemed to put the unknown thought away as she shook her head, and instead focused on attacking the creature.
She tried to climb up its leg to get to its back and head, but instead the thing flung her yet again, this time with more force. She hit the ground hard, instead of sliding from the blow, she went fully downward, and the blow caused her to go unconscious.

"Icepaw!" he yelled and he attacked the bear furiously. As it got stunned for a moment, he quickly moved her unconscious form out of the way, so the bear would not further attack her. Feeling fury fuel him, he leaped on the top of it and started clawing at its back and head.

Amberpaw raced through the field, heading toward camp. She grabbed a piece of prey and snuck out. She looked all around for death berries. Finally she spotted a large clump of them. "Perfect." She meowed through prey's fur to herself.She raced back to the battling area. Icepaw was unconscious! "Mudpelt!" She yowled over the animals racket. She put down the prey and death berries, waiting for the warrior to take it and do his part.

Mudpelt was unsure of what she wanted, as the bear's attacks had grown faster and he had to defend himself, or else he would end up like Icepaw and they would all be dead! "What is it?!" he yowled, as the bear shook him off his back and he hit the ground, wind knocked out of him, but he staggered back up and leaped at it again.

Icepaw laid in a white and blood red heap on the ground, her eyes closed and breaths short and shaky. A small nick was taken out of her ear, a bite was on her back, and a claw mark on her side, and all wounds bled, but she could have been injured worse, or killed. No worries or concerns for her clanmates filled her now, all was black.
Her breaths continued, her flank rising and lowering, but paws quivering slightly as if she could feel the pain subconsciously.
