Loner ~CLOSED~

" He needs his privacy." ,Wyu said turning toLuna and he slipped past her and sat down at the entrance.

Luna absentmindedly nodded her white head to the other wolf, glancing back at Tarlio. Her heart tugged to know that he was in pain, whether he realized it or not. You could just see it in his eyes.

Ooc: SOOO sorry I didn't reply for awhile D:

Tarlio turned his head and caught Luna's eye. He looked away quickly and shuddered with embarrassment.
                The timbre wolf then turned to Luna again, but didn't meet her eye like before. "Thank you", he mumbled in a shaky voice, "for letting me stay here, I mean."

Luna must've looked surprised at the wolf's words- because she most definitely was. She quickly hid her emotions behind a game face, her face entirely blank. But she couldn't take it away from her blue eyes, and she looked at him to know she wasn't blank like a lot of wolves around here.
"It's no problem. No wolf left behind is what I like to honor myself by doing," She barked, referring to her code.
The code that kept her in line in her own mind, as well as keeping Oburoko alive. Why did she suddenly think of Oburoko? Why not think of something else she'd done by the code? She quickly shook her thoughts away from that direction and glanced at her paws nervously.
"Umm... well, I-if you want to -you don't have to if you don't want to- you can tell me what your dream was about. Sometimes it helps me to talk about it?" She ended in a kind of question. She'd never talked to anyone like this before, except maybe her best friend.

Tarlio stared at the white wolf and hesitated. He had never told anyone of his dreams before. Well, it wasn't as if he could have done anyway, they had started only when his family had been murdered. But, for a reason even the timbre wolf himself didn't understand, he suddenly did feel like telling someone all about it. No, not someone. Not anyone. Luna.
"Alright", he said at last, "I'll tell you. do you want to come in here? Or shall I come to you?"

Luna glanced at Wyu, who was just sitting outside, seemingly totally oblivious to their conversations.
"I'll go in," She barked as she stood up from her sitting guard position. She crept in through the entrance which was covered by moss and smiled softly at Tarlio as she sat down in front of him.

Ooc: I was thinking of bringing Oburoko in soon and ruining he moment and dragging her away. It'll end this topic and we can start one that begins at the dawn of the next day, but it's totally up to you. And by soon I mean if they were about to kiss or something xD

Ooc: Oh yeah that's a great idea. I was just thinking that Tarlio and Oburoko should probably meet soon. How about Tarlio tells Luna his dream, they have a little moment of sympathy and grief and love all that jazz, and then Oburoko storms in all angry XD

Ooc: PERFECT! :D That's exactly what I was thinking X3

Ooc: okay let's do it!

Tarlio stalked out of the cave and sat beside Luna. "Luna", he said, "I want to tell you a story. My story. Many years ago, in the south, there was a thriving pack of noble, merciful timber wolves. They prowled across a vast territory that stretched for miles, and was brimming with wildlife. But one day, the pack's kind leader was murdered and overthrown by a greedy, evil wolf named Sgrios.
         "Sgrios ruled cruelly and no-one dared oppose him. No-one, except a mated pair of wolves named Kale and Tari. They opposed Sgrios's laws and despised his rule. So when they publicly defied him the two were hunted by the leader's followers.
         "They fled the pack boundaries with their four cubs; Aurial, Mink, Corr and.... Tarlio."
         Tarlio gulped, but persisted. "Soon, Sgrios's warriors caught the family, and murdered them all.... except the youngest cub, who escaped the bloodied claws of his family's killers, bearing a promise he made to his mother as she sacrificed herself to save her last child: "Promise me Tarlio. Promise me you will survive."
         "I have dreamed of that terrible night ever since." The timber wolf finished, but did not look at his companion beside him.

Luna's heart tugged inside her torso, grim with sympathy towards Tarlio. Hesitantly, she put her head on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry Tarlio," She softly stated, her voice depressed.

Ooc: If you don't what I mean with her putting her head on his shoulder it's like this:

All at once a world of affection, love an sanctuary flooded over Tarlio and a great sense of peace enfolded him. He rested his weary head on Luna's shoulder and the two sat, side by side, bathing in each others comforting presence.

Ooc: now would be a good time to bring in Oburoko, if you weren't thinking of bringing him in a little later. That picture is adorable by the way XD

What was Tarlio doing?! He was ruining all of Oburoko's plans! Everything he was working up to was drowning to the bottom of the drain.
Sick of the sight, Oburoko barged into the cave through the moss covered entrance, a deadly look in his eyes. Luna was supposed to fall for him! Not this poor excuse of a loner.
"What is going on in here?" He barked, his chest puffing out to show superiority.


Luna snapped towards the entrance and saw Oburoko come in. She immediately jumped away from Tarlio. She didn't know why, but it was like she felt horrible being caught in a situation like that. If you could see through her white fur, her cheeks were as red as the sunset.
"N-nothing Oburoko. What are you doing here?" She asked nervously. If Oburoko had seen that then he might not want her as a mate, thinking she was falling in love with someone else. That's because you are, a voice nagged at her mind. What? She couldn't have feelings for Tarlio already.
"I am here clearly because I am needed. You don't look like you got a good sleep. Here, come with me and we can sleep in the warriors den," Oburoko barked, the mad and angry version of himself replaced by the sweet and caring one Luna had come to know. The white wolfette glanced at Tarlio.
"I-I think I'm good here, Oburoko," She replied. She hoped this didn't make him angry.

Tarlio glared at the wolf who ha just entered. The first thing the timber wolf noticed about him was his utter size. The wolf was enormous! But that did not dampen the swelling rage inside him and he barked, "Luna can stay here if she wants. She is not your puppet and you are not her puppet-master. Leave her alone."
The rusty-furred wolf stood and faced Oburoko, burning him with his amber eyes.

Oburoko grew angrier and angrier by the second. How dare this mutt talk to him like that! Luna was HIS and HIS alone. He was her puppet-master, and she really was his puppet. He would play her all he wanted.
"You better shut that tounge of yours orphan," He growled.
"Oburoko! How dare you insult him like that! He is our guest!" Luna yelled at the large wolf.

Tarlio bared his teeth ferociously at Oburoko and stepped between him and Luna. "You have no right to call me that. Leave us alone, go to the warrior's den by your self."
The two males stood nose to nose, glaring into each others eyes.

Oburoko knew better then to start a fight with someone friendly with 'pack'. "Fine scum. Just sleep with one eye open," He then glanced to Luna with a fake hurt look. Like he had been crushed by her choice on who to care about. He quickly turned tail and walked out of the cave, off to the warrior's den.

Ooc: do you want to end the thread here, or carry on with it?

Ooc: Well, we can do a MTS (Magical time skip) to the morning, or just start a new thread. Up to you.

Ooc: I think we should start a new thread, this one is getting kinda full. Just letting everybody on this thread know that they can join in with the next one if they want too.

Ooc: Sounds like a plan :D You know how to change the title to closed? Not everyone does :3

Ooc: No I don't. How do you do it?

Ooc: You edit your first post of the topic and it'll say title where it usually does. Delete the open and type in Closed there :) Took me awhile to figure that out.

Ooc: okay done! do you want to set up the next thread or shall I?

Ooc: Well, I'm not sure on that one. I don't know what the next thread should be about :/
